Jos Verstappen – Max Verstappen
Jos Verstappen’s Formula One career started in 1994 with Benetton and in the following nine years, he raced with several teams, with his most memorable spell being at Arrows, driving the bright orange car. He wasn’t often found competing for the top places as he raced for several mediocre teams with noncompetitive cars. Nevertheless, he was a very quick driver on his day but sadly, he wasn’t able to achieve much in his years of racing.

Fortunately for him, his son Max is just 20 and he already has three victories to his name. Max started racing at a very young age and when he was just 16, Verstappen drove an F1 car for the first time. He made his first Formula One start in 2015 for Toro Rosso along with fellow rookie, Carlos Sainz Jr who is the son of 2-time WRC Champion, Carlos Sainz Sr. Verstappen’s aggressive style and brave overtakes caught the eye of many and in 2016, he was handed a start for the senior team, Red Bull Racing and he won his very first race with them.
This made him the youngest ever race winner in Formula One at the age of just 18! His incredible drive in the wet at Interlagos was recognized as one of the best individual performances in Motorsport history and his memorable overtake on Nico Rosberg has raised the bar for jaw-dropping overtakes. The young Dutchman has already won 2 races this year and with only the final race pending, he will give it his all to make the victory count for 2017 to 3.
